With the COVID-19 shut-downs, businesses tried creative ways to keep themselves alive. Lili the First, a Georgetown Boutique providing Independent Women with Independent Fashion, decided to go online and called me for photos. We had several sessions in the shop photographing the clothing on a mannequin using a device that allowed the shop-owner to view the photos on an iPad while maintaining a social distance from me at the camera.
She selected the photos she liked on the iPad and I took them all home to prepare for the online store. She gave me jewelry to photograph at home and I enlisted my daughter’s help to model them. At our final session, my daughter and a friend of the shop-owner modeled some of the clothes. The end result is a successful launch of her online store.
